Scuba Diving in Sarasota Florida

Although there are no coral reefs to dive off the coast of Sarasota and Manatee, there is still some ledge, wreck and artificial reef diving in the area. There are also scuba diving clubs to join who arrange dive trips and hold social events for divers throughout the year.

Sarasota Scuba Club meets the first Thursday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at the FOP Hall located on the corner of Circus Boulevard and Beneva Road.
Suncoast Reef Rovers meets in the south part of the county in Nokomis.
Lakewood Ranch Dive Club meets the First Wednesday of every month at 7PM at Lakewood Ranch Town Hall.
